Yes, being an absolute nut of an Alec fan, wasting so so so much more time and money over him than I should, I guessed that I’ll try to be an ‘Alec sponsor’, that is, giving prizes to any winning entries inspired from Alec’s works. I have a whole heap of other rare Alec prizes to give out, but I think I’ll leave that for later contests, so not to steal the limelight from TkN’s ultra great “chicken-scratch” prize- which is an awesome prize actually, I once received TkN’s chicken scratch, and I still have it in my drawer to marvel at it everyday 🙂

I agree with you totally HMS, when I listened to Love, I thought it was lovely, it was just plain superb. But then on second thoughts it really sounded like TkN, which is why I posted that comment- that TkN may have entered the contest haha- as a guest of course. I think if a person was sure they did not post an entry, they would immediately deny that fact- stating all entries was actually from other real contestants. TkN’s inability and unwillingness to deny the claim just supports our suspicions.
After all, if you were the person running the contest, and someone said to you, “HEY one of the guest entries is actually yours”, and if this was not the case, I believe most people will immediately deny that claim, and say something like: “Haha, I wished I could sing that well, but all the entries are from actual contestants!”
If it was actually one of your entires however, and you had hoped the contest to run as anonymous as possible, you’d try to play it off, and throw some comments in to throw the suspicions into doubt. Which TkN has so wittingly done:

TkN did not write ‘I only want you to love me’ lyrics. That I am quite sure of, unless TkN went and stole it from an Alec fan site and used it as a ‘guest’ entry!
And yet again, TkN tries to throw our speculations into doubt, trying to be as anonymous as possible.
I am not overly surprised if someone wanted to enter a lyrics contest anonymously- after all, it is easy to accept that someone did it just for the ‘fun’ of it, and could care less what others think of it. However, a song is different. Most people enter it nervously, and have to be brave and sing the songs. And I’m sure everyone would want to know how they did, and what others think of it. And I bet that every singer contestant will be back here everyday to see their votes.

Furthermore, I bet $100 that the writer of I only wanted to love me lyrics is a close friend of TkN. And I bet another $100 that writer is Jaisy, aka Perfect Angel. It has that tone from PA, and fills in the question why someone entered it as a guest entry. Perfect Angel is a chinese, and very very fluent in it. She is also one of TkN’s best friend. She has VIP status. She could care less about winning TkN’s prize- obviously because she contacts TkN often, and has access to nearly everything anyway. TkN would have no doubt suggested joining the contest to her. Jaisy then creates a lyric in order to join the contest, though does not care about winning the prize, therefore is a guest entry 🙂

Well obviously any VIP members after December 06 are not close friends. They probably just won some contest 🙂 They are friends of TkN, as I am, and as you are, heck, TkN will call everyone on this site her friends, but they are not -close, close- friends.
I’d describe a close friend of TkN (on av odyssey only- heck if I know any close friends of hers in real life) as one that have known her for a long time, and have communicated with her for a long, long time. The pair of friends love each other. Well, in the end, to know who is a close friend, you need to know TkN for a while, as well as keep your eyes peeled open, there are often clues.

Marce- yes I know none of TkN’s close friends knew before the deadline where the entries are at. Perhaps one or two did, but I won’t dwell on that. Anyway, TkN’s close friends would most probably had wanted to join the contest- not to fill up the gaps, but to participate in it just for the fun of it and support TkN’s contest. Obviously, being close friends, they don’t want to win the contest, they don’t need TkN’s special prize, or a VIP membership. Therefore they entered as guests only, just to support, and not win.
I still fail to see why it’s obvious that anyone would enter the contest if they are scared or shy of being disapproved of. If you are shy or scared, obviously one would not enter the contest. However, this point is true the non-guest entries have the author’s names written. THEN you have people entering the contest as guests to remain anonymous. However, all entries are anonymous now. And thus I completely fail to see why any non- VIP member or close friend would want to submit a guest entry, knowing they will remain anonymous had they submitted a proper entry, and not wanting to know what others think of it. If you are shy, you simply don’t submit an entry… 🙂

Whereas myself, I just type and spam what comes along in my mind without ever re-reading or thinking. It just spams… I’m less sensitive in real life- probably because I don’t tend to misunderstand things when I see the person. So I don’t go overboard often, sorry Marce.
